About the Role

Sovrn's Demand team supports our partners' success. The Demand Operations Manager, reporting to the Senior Director of Demand, will combine strategic thinking and technical expertise to scale our demand partnerships. This role focuses on operational excellence, optimizing partner integrations, and leading cross-functional initiatives to accelerate demand growth and enhance Sovrn's curation business.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for DSPs, providing support for integrations, troubleshooting, optimization, and ongoing account management.
  • Own the technical onboarding process for new demand partners, including integration testing, launch, and documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with DSPs and other strategic demand partners.
  • Monitor and analyze partner performance, identifying trends and optimization opportunities to improve spend, revenue, and efficiency.
  • Aggregate and analyze data from internal reporting tools to identify business trends and support strategic decision-making.
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of programmatic deals, manage deal configurations, and monitor deal pacing
  • Partner with Sales to translate buyer requirements into scalable deal strategies and maintain a library of standardized deal packages across formats and audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to improve SSP capabilities, auction mechanics, and operational processes.
  • Develop technical documentation, training materials, and best practices for both internal teams and external partners.

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical account management role, preferably at an SSP or Curation business.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic advertising, SSPs, DSPs, and related technologies.
  • Strong technical background with a deep understanding of DSP integrations and exchange platforms.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills, with a proven track record of championing customer needs and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to read, organize, and analyze large data sets to identify trends and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrates fluency in AI tools to improve productivity, analyze data, automate workflows, solve problems, and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Internet savvy and strong proficiency in office productivity tools (Gmail, Google Apps, Confluence/JIRA, Salesforce CRM)
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets (Vlookups, Formulas, pivot tables, etc)
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits: The annual base salary for this position is $90,000 to $130,000 in Colorado and $100,000 to $150,000 in New York. This range represents the good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Individual compensation decisions are based on job-related factors including relevant education, experience, skills, and work location. In addition to base salary, this role may also be eligible for bonus opportunities, commission earnings, and/or equity awards, subject to the terms of the applicable plans.
