The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an experienced Delivery Management Project Manager to support logistics operations across the Indo-Pacific. The Delivery Management Project Manager, Senior serves as CACI's senior project management professional, responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the execution of multiple Task Delivery Orders that support logistics, infrastructure, mission support, and operational requirements. Reporting directly to the Program Manager, this position provides leadership to ensure projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with customer requirements while supporting distributed operations across multiple locations.

The Delivery Management Project Manager, Senior works closely with Government stakeholders, program leadership, functional managers, site leads, subcontractors, and mission partners to synchronize project execution, resource allocation, risk management, and performance reporting. This position ensures consistent delivery of customer requirements through disciplined project management, operational integration, and continuous process improvement. As an M2 manager, the position provides direct people leadership and is accountable for workforce performance, development, workload management, delegation, and consistent team execution across assigned delivery activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the execution of multiple Task Delivery Orders from initiation through closeout, with accountability for cost, schedule, quality, performance, and customer outcomes.
  • Directly manage assigned project managers, team leads, and project support personnel; establish priorities, assign work, balance workloads, and hold personnel accountable for execution.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, staffing plans, and management operating rhythms.
  • Lead project execution across logistics, facilities, mission support, and operational teams while synchronizing geographically dispersed personnel and resources.
  • Monitor project cost, schedule, technical performance, staffing, workload, customer satisfaction, and team performance; implement corrective actions when required.
  • Manage staffing, subcontractor support, resource allocation, succession planning, and workforce readiness across assigned projects and Task Delivery Orders.
  • Conduct performance management for assigned personnel, including goal setting, coaching, feedback, performance evaluations, recognition, professional development, and corrective action as appropriate.
  • Delegate responsibilities and decision authority to subordinate managers and team leads while retaining accountability for delivery, compliance, risk, and mission outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary management interface with Government representatives and provide executive-level status, metrics, risks, staffing updates, and recommendations.
  • Ensure team compliance with contractual requirements, company policies, Government standards, project controls, and established operating procedures.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and subordinate leads to achieve performance, quality, readiness, and mission objectives while fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Manage project risks, changes, issue resolution, and corrective actions; assign owners, establish suspense dates, and track actions through closure.
  • Direct transition planning, project startup, operational readiness, and closeout activities, ensuring appropriate staffing, resources, processes, and management controls are in place.
  • Mentor and develop project managers and team leads through coaching, training, knowledge transfer, and leadership development to strengthen program continuity.
  • Support PMO activities, strategic planning, customer engagement, continuous improvement, and management reviews using lessons learned and performance analysis.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience managing Government programs, projects, or operational initiatives supporting logistics, mission support, or military operations.
  • Experience supporting Joint, Combatant Command, Service Component, or Special Operations organizations.
  • Experience managing project cost, schedule, performance, and risk within complex Government contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and brief senior Government and military leadership.

Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent professional project management certification.
  • Experience managing large, geographically dispersed programs supporting contingency, expeditionary, or distributed operations.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Project, Microsoft 365, Power BI, SharePoint, or other project management and reporting tools.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
