Job Title: Delivery Lead
Location: Washington, DC (near 100% in-person work required)
Summary: We are seeking a technically hands-on Delivery Lead to drive execution of a data lakehouse migration and legacy data pipeline to Python code conversion for a federal client. This role owns the technical delivery quality across development, migration, and testing, working in close coordination with the Project Manager. This is a full-time role supporting a base period plus option years.
Responsibilities- Lead technical execution across data lakehouse architecture, data migration and integration, and legacy pipeline to Python code conversion (120 mappings, 8 mapplets, 915 nodes).
- Drive Agile development sprints and ensure technical solutions meet high security categorization requirements.
- Ensure the migrated platform supports required capabilities including vector search, an automated data catalog, single sign-on integration, query accelerators, streaming ingestion, encryption, and native SQL plus Python support.
- Own system testing and support the authorization to operate process.
- Coordinate deployment, acceptance testing, and knowledge transfer and training to government analysts.
- Support the post-migration technical support service levels; ensure support staff meet applicable citizenship and location requirements.
- May combine with the Project Manager role if qualified for both.
Requirements- Hands-on experience with large-scale data migration to a FedRAMP High cloud environment.
- Direct experience converting legacy ETL pipelines to Python; this is a priority skill set, so candidates with demonstrable experience should be prioritized.
- Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or a comparable on-premises big data environment.
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53, FISMA High, and authorization documentation support.
- Ability to pass a Tier 4 (T4) High Risk Public Trust investigation; U.S. citizenship required as applicable to DOJ contract support.
- Prior DOJ experience recommended.
