- Annual patient volume of 60,000
- 34-bed ED
- EMR: Meditech
- M*Model Dictation - a speech-to-text documentation platform that streamlines charting, enhances accuracy, and reduces administrative responsibility; this tool helps clinicians spend more time with patients and less time on paperwork
- Part of the HCA Healthcare system
- HCA Residency Program Association: internal medicine residents rotate through the ED
- Affiliated freestanding emergency departments: Horizon and East
- 379-bed hospital
- 49 hours of physician coverage (9, 10, 11 hour shifts)
- 20 hours of APC coverage
Position Requirements- Board prepared or board certified in EM through American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM)
- Texas medical license and DEA or ability to obtain prior to start date

Facility DescriptionSince 1974, 350-bed Del Sol Medical Center has provided quality healthcare to El Paso and the surrounding region. As the only full-service, acute care hospital in East El Paso with a Level II Trauma designation in emergency services, Del Sol Medical Center continues to expand its services to meet the growing needs of the tristate community, providing special expertise in cardiology, maternity & child services, a Level III NICU, a Center of Excellence designation for our bariatric clinic and minimally invasive surgery center, and a newly renovated 32-bed rehabilitation hospital.
