Qualifications

What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is currently seekingoperationsconsulting professionals in support of Department of Defense (DoD) clients. These teammateswillbe responsible forsupportingengagements with major DoD Programsto improve operations andefficiencyoutcomesacross the program lifecycle, including Program Acquisition and Sustainment functions, cost/schedule/performancemanagement, andidentifyingnew client challenges to solve.   
 

Responsibilities of this role are as follows, to include but not limited to:

  • Supportconsulting projects for major DoD weapon systems, overseeing all phases of the program lifecycle, including acquisition, sustainment, and modernization activities.

  • Act as the primary liaison for government stakeholders, delivering clear guidance and regular status updates to ensure alignment and informeddecisionmaking.

  • Supportcross-functional teamsto achieve program goals.

  • Identify, assess,and implement process improvements to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Supportday-to-day project team activities to gain customer buy-in towards a common operating picture, solution architecture, and roadmap for execution.

  • Assistfederal clients to optimizethe operations of their finance organization, including supporting the audit readiness, accounting, logisticsand property management. 

  • Support audit remediation activities, such as developing/updating process documentation, Standard Operating Procedures, and developing/implementing corrective action plans to address findings. 

What You Will Need:

  • Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.

  • Bachelor's Degree 

  • ONE (1) or more years of experience with DoD organizations and/or Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industryor similar commercial domain


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance

  • Bachelors orAdvanced degree in business, engineering, or related field

  • TWO(2) or more years of experience in DoDor A&Dproduction, acquisition,audit activities, property accountability,engineeringand/or supply chain management

  • Experiencesupportingcomplex programs, ideally in DoD or A&Dindustry

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Proficiencyin MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)

  • Experience leading small client-facing teams through the lifecycle of a consulting engagement 

  • Experience developing written communication materials for senior levelclients

  • Ability to excel in a dynamic organization, adapting and responding quickly tonew informationand/or evolving requirements

  • Proficiencywith one or more:AI Chatbots, Machine Learning, Model Evaluation, LLM Integration 

  • Experience serving or working for Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps 

  • Experience working for or with Lockheed Martin or Pratt & Whitney
