Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced
Logistics / Configuration Management Specialist with expertise in Navy systems and configuration management practices. The successful candidate will leverage their experience with
CDMD-OA and
DECKPLATE to ensure data integrity, maintain configuration baselines, and support logistics readiness across Navy programs.
Key Responsibilities - Perform configuration management activities in support of Navy systems.
- Utilize Configuration Data Manager - Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) and MBPS's DECKPLATE for data management and reporting.
- Pull and analyze Bills of Material (BOMs) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct configuration audits to validate system baselines.
- Provide technical expertise in logistics and configuration documentation.
- Support program teams by ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and resolution of configuration issues.
Required Qualifications - U.S. Citizenship (mandatory).
- Eligible for a DoD Secret clearance.
- Minimum of 5 years of logistics experience, with at least 5 years focused on configuration management for Navy systems.
- Hands-on experience with CDMD-OA and DECKPLATE.
- Proven ability to pull and manage Bills of Material (BOMs).
- Experience performing configuration audits and managing configuration baselines.
Preferred Skills - Knowledge of Navy logistics processes and systems.
- Familiarity with other configuration management tools and databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
