What this job involves

We are looking for a Deal Analyst Team Lead to join our Brokerage Operations team and serve as a team lead. This person will operate as a player coach, managing a team of deal coordinators. They will focus on delivering optimized productivity to producers and partner with the Operations Lead to meet assigned financial targets and deadlines. As a team lead they will be responsible for direct oversight, management and training of the team.

This role provides a unique opportunity and exposure to all aspects of the commercial real estate business and our firm. You will partner with local marketing, research, finance and HR business partners as well as work alongside our executive leadership team.

General/Operations

Manage and oversee a team of Deal Coordinators in a respective market, including monitoring workload, evaluation of quality and productivity of work, and driving service/operational efficiencies

Comprehensive management of team to include recruiting, onboarding, ongoing training, performance management, employee relations, year-end reviews.

Spearhead and lead team projects and exercises to ensure 100% participation, completion and accountability.

Motivate the team, retain and grow talent.

Uphold operational excellence across the team; extreme focus on detail, accountability, and strong work ethic.

Direct and oversee continuous improvement initiatives

Seek out and put forward value add recommendations, projects (sometimes managing up).

Establish & maintain quality guidelines and business procedures

Act as primary liaison between brokerage, operations & corporate finance.

Provide outstanding customer service to brokerage team, finance team & external clients.

Transactions

Review and submit commercial real estate deals for revenue recognition - collect and validate required documents

Calculate & generate invoices upon request, within 48hrs. Process and validate all transactions within JLL database

Maintain leasing deal database - ensure ALL data (new and historical) is accurate.

Manage brokerage pipeline at 100% accuracy

Provide Reporting to brokerage, leadership and local business support lines to support business development, revenue projections and collections.

Finance

Partner with finance team to monitor and manage key metrics (Rev By Broker, Dashboards)

Manage the commission cycle and approvals with finance partner.

Stay informed and communicate finance application changes & updates to the team.

Accounts Receivable Management - ensuring timely collections

Manage Property Marketing Reimbursables - Validate contracts, oversee project tracking and billing, manager AR.

Oversee and manage monthly finance deadlines and requirements with the team; focusing on revenue and sales support

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.

2-3 years of relevant work experience in a professional company environment preferred.

Must be Resourceful, Proactive, Problem Solver who is detail-oriented.

Able to adapt to strong personalities and maintain a customer focused work ethic.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (strong-above average Excel skills) & Adobe Acrobat

Ability to learn new software and internal JLL platforms.

General knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures with accuracy.

Enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Strong time management skills and ability to work both independently and with a team environment.

Excellent written and oral communication skills: ability to communicate effectively with different audiences and present complicated information clearly.

Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Ability to stay calm under pressure and multiple deadlines, assigned last minute.

Must be accountable and able to assert discretion and professionalism when given access to confidential and private information.

Estimated compensation for this position:

80,000.00 - 90,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
