About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer within the Data Center Hosting Services (DCHS) team to support technology solutions that enable Data Center operations, infrastructure services, and operational tooling.
This role will work within a team of Infrastructure Engineers to maintain and enhance existing platforms while developing new capabilities based on business and operational needs. The engineer will collaborate with peers, Lead Engineers, Principal Engineers, Architects, application teams, and business partners to deliver scalable solutions, improve operational efficiency, and support infrastructure lifecycle management.
This position requires a strong technical foundation in application development, system integrations, infrastructure automation, and data management. The ideal candidate will possess experience developing enterprise solutions, supporting operational platforms, and leveraging SQL, APIs, and automation technologies to drive business outcomes.
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain applications, integrations, automation solutions, and operational tooling supporting Infrastructure Engineering and Data Center Operations.
- Participate in projects intended to improve, modernize, and automate infrastructure platforms and business processes.
- Develop, maintain, and support applications, integrations, scripts, and automation solutions that support infrastructure engineering and business operations.
- Develop software solutions, scripting utilities, and automation capabilities using technologies such as Python, PowerShell, SQL, APIs, and related development frameworks.
- Create and maintain technology solutions utilizing programming languages, SQL, APIs, automation frameworks, and reporting platforms to support business and operational requirements.
- Analyze and troubleshoot application, integration, infrastructure, and data-related issues.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document software solutions using Agile development practices.
- Participate in technical design reviews, implementation planning, and operational readiness activities.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, application support teams, and business partners to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
- Support production environments through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventative measures.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and engineering standards.
- Recommend improvements that increase reliability, efficiency, scalability, and operational effectiveness.
- Interact with internal customers, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to support technology initiatives and operational objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience developing enterprise applications, integrations, or automation solutions.
- Experience working with relational databases and SQL Server.
- Experience developing automation solutions using Python
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to develop highly collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications, integrations, automation solutions, and operational tooling.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational database concepts.
- Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL queries supporting application functionality, integrations, reporting, and operational analytics.
- Experience working with APIs, data exchanges, and system-to-system integrations.
- Working knowledge of Data Center infrastructure, operations, and lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) platforms and operational technologies.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, CMDB processes, and workflow automation.
- Experience supporting asset management, inventory management, capacity planning, and reporting solutions.
- Understanding of application Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and DevOps principles.
- Knowledge of source control platforms such as Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar technologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively and work as part of a decentralized, geographically dispersed organization.
- Experience with project participation, milestone management, and implementation planning.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$87,000.00 - $168,000.00
