Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with AWS Data Services including S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, Athena.
  • Proficient in Data Modeling, specifically Dimensional Modeling (Star/Snowflake) and Data Warehouse design.
  • Familiarity with Data Lake Architecture, especially using Amazon S3 and Lake Formation.
  • Experience in Big Data technologies, particularly with Spark/PySpark and Amazon EMR.
  • Expertise in ETL/ELT development using AWS Glue and Airflow for data pipeline orchestration.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for query optimization and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of real-time and streaming data technologies such as Kinesis or Kafka.
  • Understanding of security and governance frameworks, including IAM and data encryption.

  • Design and implement enterprise-scale Lakehouse architectures on cloud platforms.
  • Define data strategy, architecture standards, and governance for analytics.
  • Ensure scalable analytics platforms support AI/ML and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Drive delivery excellence and adherence to architecture best practices.
  • Manage solution design and cloud migration efforts in line with business requirements.

• AWS Data Services S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, Athena.

• Data Lake Architecture Amazon S3, Lake Formation, Data Lake best practices.
• Big Data & Processing Spark/PySpark, Amazon EMR.
• ETL/ELT Development AWS Glue, Airflow, Data Pipeline orchestration.
• SQL Expertise Advanced SQL, query optimization, performance tuning.
• Streaming & Real-Time Data Kinesis and/or Kafka
• Security & Governance IAM, KMS, Lake Formation, Encryption, Data Governance.
• Infrastructure as Code Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Architecture & Stakeholder Management Solution design, cloud migration, business requirement translation.

Roles & Responsibilities

Senior Databricks Architect with strong experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale

Lakehouse architectures on cloud platforms. Expertise in Databricks, Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, data modeling, and real-time data processing. Responsible for defining data strategy, architecture standards, governance, and scalable analytics platforms supporting AI/ML and business intelligence initiatives

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving delivery excellence.
