Ignite Digital is seeking an experienced Database Management Analyst III to support mission-critical operations for a government customer in the Norfolk, VA area. This onsite role requires a highly skilled database professional capable of independently managing complex data environments or collaborating within technical teams to design, implement, secure, and maintain enterprise-level databases.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the full lifecycle of database environments, including design, configuration, testing, deployment, and sustainment
- Implement industry-standard security protocols to protect classified and unclassified data
- Evaluate database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate database development and change management activities with cross-functional teams
- Ensure database documentation, configuration records, and technical artifacts remain updated and compliant
- Support government customer requirements with professionalism, attention to detail, and mission-focused execution
Required Experience:- 10 years of professional experience with a Master's degree
- 14 years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree
- Experience must include professional responsibility in:
- Administering, testing, and implementing computer databases
- Coordinating database changes across stakeholder groups
- Implementing database security measures and safeguarding sensitive data
- Maintaining and optimizing databases within an application ecosystem
- Operating independently or coordinating database development in team-based environments
Education & Certifications: - DoD 8570 / DoD 8140 Compliance, Level III
- Oracle certification
- SQL certification
- Active SECRET Clearance required at the time of application
Salary: $120k+ to align with education and experience.
