Database EngineerFull Time, Hybrid, San Antonio, TXSecret ClearanceOverview:Semper Valens Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Database Engineer to provide subject matter proficiency for work described in the task.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements
- Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architecture, and other related management and technical duties.
- Requires expertise in specialty area.
Required Qualifications:- Ten (10) years combined experience in each of the following for relational and cloud-based databases:
- Database development and software engineering/development
- Database Design and Data Modeling
- Requirements analysis/generation
- Developing systems and software architectures
- Must have 5 years' experience working with Enterprise DB.
- 7 years of experience with PostgreSQL Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining automated installation scripts. Demonstrated experience developing database solutions in a multi-tiered environment.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications- Demonstrated ability to diagnose, resolve, and implement solutions for complex enterprise database ingest and export challenges, delivering timely and reliable outcomes across diverse external data sources, environments, and enclaves. -
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers, ensuring alignment, transparency, and shared understanding across all phases of the project.
