Overview

VTG is seeking a NALCOMIS Database Administrator in Patuxent River, MD to be responsible for the daily upkeep of the Maintenance Activities maintenance databases in support of PMA-274 Presidential Helicopter program.

What will you do?

  • Perform a variety of functions using the Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS), monitor and manage print request and printer configurations, view and monitor system information, broadcast messages and manages log-in capabilities. The DBA/A shall monitor server processes and schedules and rejects jobs.
  • Will add, edit, and delete pre-defined jobs.
  • Maintains system security and advises on matters pertaining to NALCOMIS.
  • Inputs, extracts, analyses and validates maintenance data; develops and interprets management reports, monitors data and the parameters for up- line reporting and related interface requirements.
  • Maintain, issue and dispose of aircraft, engine and associated component equipment logs and records, and inventory records including aircraft and engine reports as provided by written instructions.
  • Process readiness documents administer the aircraft configuration status accounting program, and verify aircraft utilization reports.
  • Comply with all current sections of the DCMAINST 8210.1 and CNAFINST 4790.2 series.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor's degree in a Management or Business discipline. An AS or AA degree plus four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS or six (6) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS.
  • Five (5) years US Navy/US Marine Corps/US Coast Guard O-Level/I-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 series aircraft maintenance support experience as a DBA/A.
  • Experience supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and Integrated Test Teams (ITT) is preferred.
  • Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a Top Secret clearance and YW access.
    • Individuals released from Military Service with other than "Honorable Discharges" do not meet minimum qualifications.
  • Experience must be within the last five years.
  • All personnel must be U. S. citizens.

Pay Range: VTG's estimated salary range is $80,000 - $100,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
