Key Responsibilities- Manage and administer Teradata database environments across development, test, and production.
- Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
- Execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Monitor and optimize database performance and query efficiency.
- Implement database security, access controls, and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Provide L2/L3 production support and incident resolution.
- Collaborate with data engineers, ETL developers, and business teams.
- Support data integration, migration, and modernization initiatives.
Required Qualifications- 3-6 years of experience as a Database Administrator with strong Teradata experience.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise data warehouse environments.
- Strong SQL and query performance tuning skills.
- Experience with Teradata utilities (BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT).
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Exposure to data modernization programs.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or DataStage.
- Healthcare industry experience.
