Full Job Description
Oracle, SQL Server and SYBASE

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

Required:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Candidate would be expected to be "On call" to support system operations.
  • Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph (last polygraph must be within the last five (05) years)
  • Must have Ten (10) years' experience as a DBA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline (i.e. Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Four (04) years of additional relevant experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Maintains the integrity, security and availability of multiple database(s). Duties include disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data.
  • Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database.
  • Evaluates and recommend available database management system (DBMS) products.
  • Performs database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability and compliance with business requirements.
  • Performs Oracle, SQL Server and SYBASE Database and Application server administration. Organizes and formats data for efficient query and storage processes.


$150,000 - $200,000 a year

The pay range for this job, with multi-levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
