Database Administrator to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment.
Job Description and Responsibilitiesprovides technical expertise in Oracle database design, administration, optimization, security, and maintenance. The role supports mission-critical applications through database analysis, solution development, performance improvement, data integrity management, and collaboration with project teams on database architecture, integration, and operational support.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)- Oracle database administration, SQL/PLSQL, database design, and performance optimization.
- Enterprise data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and database management.
- Oracle backup/recovery, security, patching, and data integrity practices.
- RHEL/Windows environments, scripting, and enterprise application integration.
- Database development, troubleshooting, tuning, upgrades, and operational support.
- Large-scale database solution design and application integration.
- Ability to analyze requirements, implement database solutions, and support modernization initiatives.
- Ability to collaborate with development, project, and operations teams.
- Experience with source control tools such as Git.
- Experience with current Oracle database technologies and data warehousing features.

- Candidate must communicate effectively with team members, team lead, management, and government customer
- Must have the ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervision
Minimum Training, Education, and Certifications- Five (5) years of relevant experience
- IAT-II requires one of the following current certifications: CND, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security + CE, or SSCP
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification
- 3 years of Financial Website experience within the Federal Government
- 3 years of Federal Government Audit Readiness & Reconciliation experience
Minimum ClearancePhysical Requirements- Required to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Physical demands associated with this position include extensive walking (including stairs) throughout offices and between buildings. May require use of public transportation, personal or Government vehicle to drive to local and/or remote office locations.
