Do you want to join a small but senior team of technology professionals and work directly with the business to solutions systems for them? If so see the details below and let us when we can go over all the specific details.

The Data Architect/Developer contractor will primarily assist with the implementation of an Enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Marts development efforts. The contractor will focus on Relational Data Modeling, Topology, ETL methodologies and consistency of data between the various databases. In addition, the contractor will be responsible for assisting in SQL code reviews, enforcing SQL standards and optimization of stored procedures as needed. The contractor will coordinate with the SQL Administrator to ensure the solutions fit into the firm's enterprise approach to database layouts as well as with the developers and users who will be involved with the various projects.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with designing and maintaining the Data Warehouse and Data Marts
  • Design Data Models and data access methods for the application group
  • Determine and socialize the best practices in the data model
  • Assist with reporting layers built on top of the Data Marts
  • Work with the enterprise DBA to ensure standards are maintained
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Assist in stored procedure optimization when required
  • Contribute to the process improvement initiatives
  • Participate as lead or developer on various projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BS in Computer Science or related fields
  • 5+ years as a database architect utilizing the SQL Server stack
  • 5+ years of SQL performance tuning
  • Familiarity with N-Tier applications
