Full Job Description
This position will support advanced data analytics initiatives, designing scalable data solutions and enabling insight-driven decision-making efforts. The position is located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.

What will you be doing?

This position will be a key member of the data analytics and digital solutions team. Duties include:

  • Conceptualize and design high-impact data use cases by transforming unstructured data (e.g., web pages, PDFs, free-text) into actionable insights
  • Develop and maintain Python 3 scripts to extract and process data from sources such as Excel, CSV, JSON, Markdown, APIs, and internal documents
  • Utilizes Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) to execute/modify locally hosted large language models (LLMs) to generate summaries, classifications and data enrichments.
  • Perform prompt engineering by designing,testing, documenting, and versioning prompts to ensure consistent outputs
  • Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards and configure on-premises data gateways for automated refreshes
  • Generate deliverables in PDF, Word, and HTML formats using open-source tools
  • Create comprehensive documentation for datasets, workflows, scripts, and dashboards
  • Develop robust data cleaning, preprocessing, and transformation pipelines
  • Design and maintain scalable data models to support analytics and reporting requirements
  • Analyze and solve complex data-related challenges with a strong problem-solving approach
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and contribute to AI strategy documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned
