NRDC is seeking a Data Scientist to work with the Science Office team in our Washington DC office.
Position Summary
The Data Scientist conducts statistical analysis, computation, geospatial analysis, and data visualization and mapping to support NRDC’s advocacy priorities, turning environmental data into rigorous, defensible findings. Working within the Data Science team in the Science Office, the Data Scientist leads discrete projects from intake through final product, with substantial mentoring and team collaboration, helping the team meet sustained, organization-wide demand for data analysis and visualization support.

Internal equity will be reviewed and considered to determine a final offer. For this position, the salary range is $90,000 to $100,000.
NRDC operates under a hybrid work model. Employees are required to come to the office 8 days per month.
