Job Description:

TD's Analytics, Insights and Artificial Intelligence (AI2) team provides consultative support with data & analytics-based business insights and/or solutions to guide decision making and/or strategic planning. The Enterprise Loyalty & Engagement AI2 team is doing exciting, high profile work to transform loyalty programs across TD Bank products.

Job Description

The Data Scientist III will report to the Senior Manager, Data Science for Loyalty and Partnerships and will be responsible for supporting the Loyalty and Partnerships business with analytical solutions to drive a range of strategies including loyalty program design and management, campaigns to drive loyalty and engagement, development of new partnership opportunities, and management of existing loyalty and co-brand partnerships:

• Generating insights from data across various domains within TD to explain customer behaviour and inform business decisions
• Developing data assets and dashboards that can be leveraged by team members and business partners to generate insights
• Developing targeting criteria for campaigns and other tactics to drive loyalty and engagement
• Delivering presentations of analysis and other deliverables

Requirements

• Strong critical thinking skills, business acumen, and ability to generate insights by connecting observations in data to the customer behaviour that the data explains, thereby informing business decisions
• Strong communication skills including building and delivering clear and concise presentations for non-technical audiences
• Strong programming skills including SQL and Python/Pyspark
• Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
• Rapid pace to deliver in an environment with multiple priorities and tight timelines
• Ability to collaborate closely with teammates and business partners, frequently providing and receiving information and support
• Knowledge of TD's Wealth and/or Canadian Personal Banking businesses are assets
• Ability to execute A/B testing and familiarity with machine learning are assets
• 3+ years of relevant experience
