In this role, you will design and execute measurement frameworks and experimentation to evaluate marketing effectiveness, generating insights that directly inform marketing strategy, investment decisions, and performance optimization for Paid Social, Programmatic, and Paid App channels.

Your work will ensure our marketing investments are guided by robust evidence, enabling the business to drive sustainable growth and maximize return on marketing spend. This is an opportunity to be part of a fun, exciting, and data-driven company where analytics plays a critical role in shaping business outcomes.

Key Impact

As a senior data science leader, your primary focus is to own measurement strategy and drive business impact by connecting rigorous data science with strategic business decisions. You will work independently on high-impact, ambiguous measurement challenges, taking vague business questions and transforming them into structured analytical solutions that guide multi-million dollar investment decisions. Your work will directly influence executive strategy, shape how the organization measures marketing ROI, and establish best practices for analytics rigor across the company. You will be expected to operate with strategic judgment, drive initiatives to completion with minimal oversight, and elevate the analytics discipline within your organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own measurement strategy and design for marketing effectiveness using advanced data science methodologies (A/B testing, Conversion lift studies, incrementality analysis, attribution models, marketing mix modeling)
  • Take ambiguous, high-stakes business questions and independently frame them into structured analytical problems, applying creative data science approaches to deliver practical, scalable solutions
  • Proactively identify measurement gaps and develop solutions before being asked; anticipate and solve complex measurement and data challenges
  • Build reusable measurement frameworks that improve measurement quality, reduce time-to-insight, and set standards for analytics rigor across the organization
  • Generate strategic insights through deep-dive analyses using SQL, Python, and Tableau to uncover growth opportunities and quantify incremental value of marketing investments
  • Translate complex findings into clear, compelling narratives for C-suite and senior leadership to guide multi-million dollar budget decisions
  • Drive cross-functional partnerships across marketing, finance, engineering, and data teams to implement measurement frameworks and ensure adoption
  • Influence stakeholders at all levels to adopt data-driven decision-making and shape how the organisation measures marketing ROI among channel managers, advertising partners, senior leadership, finance, and data engineers.
  • Promote measurement best practices and establish standards within the organization; stay current with industry advancements in experimentation, attribution, and measurement
  • Mentor and raise the bar for analytics capabilities within the team and contribute to advancing the analytics discipline
  • Operate with independence and ownership: take initiative on ambiguous problems, drive solutions to completion, and demonstrate strategic judgment in prioritizing high-impact work
Required Qualifications
  • Relevant degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field) OR minimum 3+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related analytical role
  • Experienced in measuring marketing effectiveness and channel ROI such as incrementality testing, marketing mix modeling (MMM), cleanroom, or other marketing measurement method or frameworks
  • Demonstrated capability to independently frame ambiguous business problems into data science solutionswithin marketing analytics and drive end-to-end processes from data extraction to insight implementation
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Tableau for data extraction, analysis, modelling, and visualisation. Hands-on expertise applying statistical methods and experimentation techniques, including A/B testing, user-level testing, and causal analysis
  • Ability to design and implement scalable analytical solutions across complex, multi-channel environments
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills with ability to influence senior or cross-functional decision-makers
  • Strong problem-solving ability in dynamic, ambiguous environments with capability to operate independently and drive initiatives to completion
  • Strategic mindset with ability to connect data insights to business outcomes and guide multi-million dollar investment decisions
