Full Job Description
As a Data Scientist III, you will work with diverse datasets to generate insights that support business and product decisions. You will collaborate with cross functional partners across R and D, Finance, Commercial, Operations, and IT to understand business questions and translate them into analytical solutions. Your day may include analyzing trends, building or refining statistical models, preparing and validating data, and creating dashboards and visualizations that help stakeholders interpret results, while balancing independent analytical work with collaboration and knowledge sharing.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Apply statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques to address business and operational questions, supporting data driven decision making across the organization.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and self service analytics tools that enable stakeholders to access insights efficiently and independently.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and validation across multiple internal data sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of analytical outputs.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear insights and visualizations that are accessible to non technical audiences and support effective communication.
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional partners in Finance, R and D, Commercial, Operations, and IT to understand business needs and deliver analytical solutions that drive impact.

What You Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in a related field is preferred and may substitute for some years of experience.
  • Work Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related technical roles, with demonstrated application of analytical skills in a business or applied research environment.
  • Analytical and Modeling Skills: Experience applying statistical methods, predictive modeling techniques, and exploratory data analysis to solve real world business problems and support decision making.
  • Data Visualization and Communication: Ability to create clear and effective dashboards, reports, and visualizations, and to communicate analytical findings to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Problem Solving: Strong ability to work independently while collaborating with cross functional teams, translating business questions into analytical approaches, and iterating on solutions based on stakeholder input.

Location: This position must be based in Pleasanton, CA and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $137,600 to $189,200 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
