The Opportunity:
The Opportunity CACI is seeking an experienced Data Scientist supporting the Army DCS, G-6, Network Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) Services Integration (NC4SI) Directorate in support of a Task Order - G-6 Network Plans & Enterprise Information Environment Mission Area (EIEMA) Management. NC4SI provides comprehensive planning, analytical, operational, policy, technical and management services at The Pentagon, Washington D.C. and Ft. Belvoir, VA.
Responsibilities:
·Proficiencyin data science tools, programming languages and frameworks (Python, R, SQL, Palantir Ontology, Palantir Data Marketplace, etc.).
·Experience with building and integrating APIs into Army Vantage and other Army or DOD Platforms. Deep understanding in API orchestration and policy considerations within DOD/Army and proven operational implementationtrack recordof deploying APIs and integrating automated data pipelines Army and vendor platforms (AESMP, Army 365, DISA circuitutilization, Netops Tools, Splunk, First Alert).
·Familiarity with Army data systems and protocols for API integration across Army platforms.
ArmyVantage Environment Development:
· Familiarity with Palantir Foundry applications such as, Workshop, Pipeline Builder and Automate. Ability toleveragethePalantirAIP tools to include AIP Logic Functions, AIP Threads and AIP Chatbot Studio.
· Understanding of the Palantir Ontology Managerand knowledge of data architecture and infrastructurerequiredforArmyVantage.
· Development of dynamic visualizations for executive level consumption.
Data Analysis and Modeling:
·Strong skills in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning(ML)techniques. Familiarity and proventrack recordof deploying ensemble predictive ML models, neural networks, LLM vectorization and customization.
· Ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insightsfor senior leadership decision-making.
Qualifications:
Required:
· Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
·Bachelor9sDegreein a STEM field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Engineering, etc.)
·Minimum of5-7 years of experience in data science roles, preferably with military or government projects.
·Familiarity with Army-specific data tools and platforms.
·Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into actionable strategies for senior leadership decision-making.
Desired:
·Master9s Degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Engineering, etc.)
·Experience working with cross-functional teamsand collaborating across disciplines toenhance technical developments.
·Understanding of Army security protocols and compliance requirements for handling sensitive data.
·Familiarity and experience with DOD IL4, IL5, and IL6 cloud environments and data exchange via CDS
·Certifications inDataScience,CloudComputing, or related fields.
