What You Will Do:Guidehouse is seeking a Cleared Data Scientist/Analyst to join our Defense and Security Segment AI & Data Practice. In this role, you will collect, transform, integrate, and analyze data to identify trends, assess performance, and develop visualizations that support mission and organizational goals. You will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making for financial management operations and reporting processes within the FBI.
Responsibilities include:
- Accessing and integrating data from multiple sources, establishing data connections, and preparing data for analysis
- Defining data requirements and ensuring data storage, availability, and quality meet organizational needs
- Designing data models, building algorithms and predictive models, and conducting exploratory analyses using advanced analytics and machine learning
- Supporting analytical workstreams to identify key indicators of compliance, performance, and mission success
- Designing and delivering dashboards and data visualization solutions that provide actionable insights and business intelligence
- Supporting client delivery while contributing to business development, internal initiatives, and ongoing professional growth
What You Will Need:- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree
- EIGHT (8) or more years of professional data analytics experience supporting data management, analysis, and/or tool development
- Demonstrated experience with Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Dynamics, and/or Dataverse
- Demonstrated experience developing tools and solutions using standard data analytic tools such as SQL, Python and/or PowerBI.
- Proficient using MS Office Suite.
What Would Be Nice To Have:- Prior experience with statistical modeling around accruals or other federal financial/budgetary process areas.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- B.S./B.A. obtained in a quantitative field, such as data science, statistics, math, engineering, economics, or quantitative finance
- Prior experience supporting federal clients in financial operations, reporting, internal controls, or risk management.
- Knowledge of and/or experience supporting Federal OCFO concerns, such as compliance, risk, audit, internal controls, data quality, system data reconciliation, budget, reporting, business processes improvement.
The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
