Job Summary

Freewheel is currently looking to recruit a Data Scientist to join our Audience & AI group as part of the Revenue Science engineering team. This role will be responsible for supporting product development efforts related to data analyses, AI, machine learning, optimization methods, and statistical model building. This role will work very closely with engineering and product management staff to support the development of innovative approaches to the next generation of ad tech products.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Operations Research required; Master’s or PhD a plus
  • At least 2 years of experience with Python, SQL, and analytical model implementation required
  • Experience using AWS, Databricks and Snowflake technologies required.  Other on-prem/ cloud platforms a plus
  • Knowledge of AI platforms (e.g., Amazon Bedrock), large language models and AI orchestration (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph) technologies desired
  • Experience with Optimization Models such as Linear and Nonlinear Programming a plus
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Looker and Tableau a plus
  • Skilled at data mangling and extract, transform, load (ETL) pipelines
  • Skilled at machine learning model building and evaluation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently in a problem solving environment
  • Proven ability to deliver on complex projects within deadlines
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Strong interest in advertising technology

Compensation

New York Pay Range: $118,300.41 - $177,450.62

This job can be performed in Illinois with a Pay Range of $103,512.86 - $184,844.39. This job can be performed in California with a good faith estimated pay range upon hire of $88,725.31 USD - $164,306.12.

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within the posted range for this role at the time of posting dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
