The Branch Channel Analytics team provides expertise in data science and analytics to improve productivity and optimize sales performance for our bankers across the firm. The team leverages industry-leading tools, processes, and analytics to convert data into meaningful insights that enable Consumer Bank’s leadership to drive value and an excellent customer experience for their business programs.

We are seeking a Data Scientist Lead – Vice President to join Branch Channel Analytics and lead our Customer Journey and Anomaly Detection strategy across Consumer Banking and cross-Line of Business (LOB) experiences within the branch channel. You will build and continuously improve how we track, understand, and optimize end-to-end customer journeys—delivering an end-to-end credit card customer journey proof of concept, launching a multi-touch attribution framework, and evolving cross-LOB recommendations that optimize how clients are served through the branch channel. You will manage a team of four, partner closely with business and product stakeholders, and own delivery end-to-end—from problem framing and implementation through measurement and ongoing refinement.

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will own end-to-end delivery from analysis and test design through implementation and performance monitoring.
  • Lead the Customer Journey team to build and refine approaches to: map and measure end-to-end customer journeys, evolve multi-touch attribution across touchpoints, and generate cross-LOB recommendations to optimize how clients are served through the branch channel
  • Develop scalable, data-driven decisioning (attribution, causal modeling, anomaly detection, and simulation approaches as appropriate) and drive delivery from proof of concept to production readiness
  • Partner with business, product, and cross-functional teams to define requirements, align on tradeoffs and success metrics, and ensure solutions are adopted in workflows
  • Build a rigorous experimentation and measurement cadence (A/B testing/holdouts) to quantify impact, calculate value, and recalibrate strategies over time

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 6+ years of applied data science experience, includingownership of production analytics/modelsand measurable business outcomes.
  • Prior experienceleading or mentoringdata scientists (formal or informal leadership); ability to manage priorities and develop talent.
  • Strong foundation instatistics and experimentation(A/B testing design, power, bias/variance, causal inference basics).
  • Experience buildingcustomer journeys and attribution models and translating them into decision rules and journey strategies.
  • Proficiency inPython(and/or R) and SQL
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, data, and business partners and drive ambiguity to execution.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience with customer journey analytics, multi-touch attribution, causal inference, or recommender/ranking systems
  • Familiarity with constraints-aware decisioning (capacity, fairness, coverage, service levels) and optimization concepts
  • Experience with real-time or near-real-time decisioning systems and measurement in operational environments
  • Strong executive communication skills and experience presenting results and recommendations to senior stakeholders
