Full Job Description
As a Data Product & Quality Specialist at AFS, you will act as the primary quality and testing authority for data products, bridging the gap between the engineering team and data consumers.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute test plans for data pipelines, APIs, and data products to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to requirements.
• Perform functional testing from a consumer's perspective, validating that data is discoverable in the ACDC catalog, accessible via the APIs, and matches the documented metadata.
• Serve as a member of the "Enabling Team," acting as a data mesh advocate who supports the adoption of the DME by helping consumers find, understand, and use data products.
• Create and maintain user-facing documentation, tutorials, and "getting started" guides for data consumers.
• Gather feedback from early adopters and mission partners to create a feedback loop that drives continuous improvement for the data products and the platform itself.
Basic Qualifications
• User-level experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman), data catalog interfaces (ACDC), and data validation techniques.
• Experience with Python scripting
• Familiarity with SQL
• Experience in data quality assurance, software testing, and writing technical documentation.

• A strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand data from both a technical and a mission-user perspective.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
