Job OverviewThe Data Product Developer II is responsible for building, enhancing, and supporting complex standard data products and business-facing analytical outputs that support decision-making and operational performance. This role independently develops dashboards, reports, recurring outputs, and routine analytical solutions using approved data assets and enterprise standards.
Duties & Responsibilities- Build and enhance standard dashboards, reports, and recurring analytical outputs based on defined requirements
- Support maintenance, updates, and routine enhancements to existing data products and reporting solutions
- Apply approved business logic, perform validation, and test outputs for quality and accuracy
- Partner with managers and stakeholders to clarify assigned requirements and ensure outputs meet business needs
- Document delivered outputs, logic, and changes to support continuity and supportability
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities- Strong experience developing dashboards, reports, and business-facing analytical outputs
- Proficiency in SQL and analytical or reporting tools used by the organization
- Ability to work with curated datasets, enterprise data products, and standardized business logic
- Understanding of testing, validation, and support practices for business-facing outputs
- Ability to independently translate business requirements into clear and usable outputs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with business partners and technical teams
- Ability to manage multiple requests, enhancements, and delivery timelines
- Experience improving existing outputs for usability, consistency, and performance
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree (4 years)
- Relevant work experience: 5 to 7 years
Preferred Qualifications- Professional certifications, licenses, or credentials related to cloud platforms, data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence, software development, data architecture, or product development.
- Completion of recognized advanced technical training programs, specialized learning paths, university certificate programs, or other professional development programs demonstrating expertise in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting scalable data products, analytical solutions, and enterprise data platforms is also preferred.
