Platinum Technologies is seeking an Data Operations Technical Lead to join our company. The Data Operations Technical Lead provides leadership and oversight for data operations, digital project execution, and customer support activities. This position serves as the primary interface between customers and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of requirements and operational objectives.
This role is onsite at MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL (Onsite)
Required Clearance: Active TS/SCI security clearance
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage data operations activities supporting customer requirements.
• Oversee digital project execution from requirements intake through delivery.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers and technical teams.
• Manage intake, prioritization, assignment, and tracking of support requests.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable work packages.
• Establish and maintain operational processes and governance standards.
• Monitor project schedules, risks, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate activities across multiple teams and organizations.
• Provide status updates and recommendations to leadership.
• Support continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Manage workload balancing and resource allocation activities.
• Track service delivery objectives and performance measures.
• Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support Agile planning, sprint execution, and release activities.
• Oversee documentation, knowledge management, and process standardization.
Required Qualifications
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related technical discipline.
• Current DoD 8570-compliant certification.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience managing digital projects in support of SOF Enterprise customers.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Experience with requirements management and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience developing executive-level reports and briefings.
Desired Qualifications
• Three (3) years of experience managing SOF Agile development processes.
• Three (3) years of experience managing SOF Data Operations processes and procedures.
• Three (3) years of experience managing SOF digital support request requirements.
• Experience coordinating customer and technical support teams.
• Experience implementing operational process improvements.
• Experience with enterprise service delivery management.
• Experience supporting geographically distributed organizations.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent technical initiatives
