Role Overview:The Data Modeler will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database structures and data models. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure optimal database performance, while also providing support during testing and mentoring junior resources.
Key Responsibilities:- Requirement Gathering and Design Documentation
- Development and Unit Testing
- Provide required support during the Testing (SIT & UAT) including troubleshooting, Implementation, and warranty period
- Attending Internal and Client meetings
- Mentor Junior resources
Required Skills:- Knowledge of relational databases and data architecture computer systems, including SQL
- Knowledge of ER modelling, big data, enterprise data, and physical data models
- Familiarity with data modelling software such as Microsoft Visio, or Erwin Data
- Experience in designing and implementing database structures
- Ability to create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes
- Knowledge of industry best practices for data modelling and database design
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data requirements
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of database queries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
