The Opportunity:

As a Data Integration & Fusion Manager supporting the SCOPES Program at USSOUTHCOM, you will support the Joint Task Force–Western Hemisphere (JTF-WHEM) JDN Cell by integrating data from multiple operational systems to deliver a unified and actionable Common Operational Picture (COP). You will lead data fusion and interoperability efforts across legacy and emerging Command and Control (C2) capabilities, enabling timely, data-driven decision-making for joint, coalition, and partner nation operations. Your expertise will improve situational awareness, modernize data integration capabilities, and enhance operational effectiveness across the theater.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate and synchronize data from multiple Command and Control (C2) systems, sensors, and external data sources to support an accurate and comprehensive Common Operational Picture (COP).

  • Manage interoperability between legacy and emerging capabilities, including GCCS-J, Maven Smart System (MSS), Palantir Foundry, Gaia, and related operational platforms.

  • Develop and maintain data fusion Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and technical documentation supporting Joint Domain Network (JDN) operations.

  • Collaborate with operational stakeholders to define requirements, develop use cases, and implement data integration solutions aligned with mission objectives.

  • Leverage data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and automation capabilities to improve data discovery, information management, and operational decision support.

  • Support operational planning, exercises, and contingency operations by ensuring the reliable integration, validation, and functionality of data across Command and Control systems.

  • Advise senior leaders on data integration strategies, Common Operational Picture modernization, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance decision advantage across the operational environment.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

  • 8+ years of experience supporting Command and Control (C2) systems integration, data fusion, or operational data management within a Combatant Command, Joint Task Force, Service Component Headquarters, or equivalent operational headquarters.

  • Demonstrated expertise integrating and modernizing C2 systems, including GCCS-J and emerging capabilities such as Palantir Foundry, Gaia, Maven Smart System (MSS), or comparable operational platforms.

  • Experience with data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), Common Operational Picture (COP) modernization, and interoperability between legacy and modern operational systems.

  • Experience collaborating with operational stakeholders to define requirements, develop use cases, implement technical solutions, and provide user training and technical support.

Desired:

  • Experience developing Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and technical documentation supporting operational data integration.

  • Experience supporting joint and multinational exercises, contingency operations, and theater-level Command and Control integration.

  • Familiarity with cloud-enabled data environments, automation technologies, and emerging decision support capabilities supporting Joint and Multi-Domain Operations.
