As the Data Governance Manager for the Arkansas Decision Support System (DSS), you are responsible for continually developing and supporting the data governance framework for Arkansas Medicaid.
The position focuses on managing and maintaining compliance with inbound and outbound data flows into the DSS, orchestrating work to be performed across multiple organization verticals, ensuring data needs are met by end users, and reporting and maintaining data health assessments to various clients.
The role requires a strong background in understanding the data ecosystem for a Medicaid program, the ability to take on complex multi-step tasks and perform to completion while managing and delegating to a small support team.
This position follows a hybrid schedule with at least three in-office days per week.
Primary Responsibilities: - Develop and manage the data governance framework for data practices, policies, and standards both at a technical and functional level in the Data Governance Plan
- Serve as a single point of contact for data quality and governance in a multi-vendor environment, leading communication with senior and top management regarding Data Governance
- Ensure all data in the data warehouse is usable, manageable, and provides more support to report development and data-driven decisions
- Develop and Maintain inventory of the enterprise data
- Facilitate the development and implementation of Data Protection, Data quality standards across the enterprise
- Design & Develop Data Governance RoadMap and provide reports regarding the progress from time to time

Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Medicaid data and policies
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Governance Lead or similar role in data quality management
- 3+ years coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-profile enterprise level projects
- Experience preparing and delivering reports to executive leadership
- Located within a daily commutable distance of our Little Rock, AR office location
- Ability to work at least 3 days per week in the Little Rock, AR office location
Preferred Qualifications:- Current Certified Data Management Professional (CDMPae) or DAMA/EDM equivalent certification
- Experience working with data governance tools (i.e. Collibra, Informatica, Purview, etc.)

The salary for this role will range from $112,700 - $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
