ResponsibilitiesPeraton seeks a Data Governance Manager to support Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security Support.
Location: Fort Meade, MD.
In this role, you will establish and maintain data governance frameworks ensuring compliance with organizational policies, cybersecurity standards, and legal regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Establish data governance frameworks and policies
- Ensure SchemaOne compliance across datasets
- Define data quality standards and metrics
- Coordinate with compliance and security teams
- Manage data stewardship program
- Oversee data lifecycle management
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
- Strong data governance experience
- Knowledge of data management frameworks
- Understanding of compliance requirements
- Experience with data quality programs
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- U.S Citizenship required
- DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in one of the following:
- Certified DataManagementProfessional(CDMP) - Associate, Practitioner, or Master
- DataGovernanceandStewardshipProfessional(DGSP)certification
- Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP) in Data Governance
- Familiar withDAMA Body of Knowledge (DMBOK)
- 8 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management or a related field
Target Salary Range$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individuals experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
