Role Overview:We are seeking an Engineering Program Manager (EPM) with a strong understanding of technical concepts to drive the execution of engineering programs. This role involves managing status reporting, roadmap reviews, and quarterly engineering reviews, with a particular focus on big data technologies and data analytics.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive the team's execution on status reporting, roadmap reviews, quarterly engineering reviews, and/or newsletters.
- Handle fast-paced and ambiguously defined projects with multiple customers and partners.
- Understand and analyze data, focusing on the meaning of data within datasets, its transformation, and the impact of data changes on analytics or metrics.
Required Skills:- Strong understanding of technical concepts.
- Good understanding of Spark and Scala (big data technology).
- Strong strategic thinking skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to think about data and data analytics, specifically the meaning and transformation of data within containers.
Qualifications:- 8-10 years of experience.
- Familiarity with using a Mac laptop is preferred.
