Full Job Description
We're seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to join our growing team.

The Sr. Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building and scaling our enterprise data platform. This position will also develop reliable, high-quality data pipelines and curated data models that support enterprise analytics, reporting, and executive decision-making.

How you'll make us better:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformations in a cloud-based data platform
  • Develop ingestion patterns from enterprise source systems into cloud data warehouses
  • Build and optimize analytics-ready data models to support enterprise metrics and reporting
  • Implement data quality checks, validations, and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and reliability
  • Partner with analytics, architecture, and business teams to translate requirements and metric definitions into production solutions
  • Apply security, access control, and governance standards to all data assets
  • Participate in Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, standups, and backlog refinement
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of data engineering standards, documentation, and best practices
  • This role requires use of approved AI tools to perform assigned tasks more efficiently and effectively

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in Agile or iterative delivery environments
  • Ability to present complex technical details in a clear and concise manner, making it easy for non-technical team members to understand


Prerequisites for success:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required
  • Six (6) years of progressive data engineering experience in regulated or security-sensitive data environments required
  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide or executive-level analytics required
  • Advanced knowledge of Azure data services and cloud-native architectures
  • Advanced knowledge of Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse
  • Advanced knowledge of data modeling principles and data architecture concepts
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL
  • Advanced proficiency with building data pipelines and transformations in cloud environments
