Job Description
Cape Fox subsidiary, Kwaan Tech, LLC, is seeking a highly organized and motivated Data Engineer to join our team in support of a government customer. This role will design, implement, and manage databases and data pipelines supporting TSSC operations; ensure data integrity, availability, and security in a classified environment. This position is contingent upon award.
The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position has been established at:
$185,000 - $220,000.
The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, we offer a variety of benefits including company holidays, paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, as well as 401K with company match. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn.
Key duties:
- Design/optimize database structures and build scalable data pipelines and architectures for TSSC data.
- Implement long-term data storage solutions and data models supporting analytics; ensure classified-environment data security.
- Coordinate with software developers for data integration; provide technical leadership to junior data engineers.

Job Requirements
- Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility and CI polygraph
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- 8+ years in data engineering/database administration.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, Java, Scala; ETL/ELT expertise; relational + NoSQL; big-data frameworks; cloud services; data modeling/warehousing; classified-environment data security.
