Data Analyst / Business Analyst
Position Overview
We are seeking a versatile and curious data professional to join our team. This role supports a wide range of analytics initiatives, from developing dashboards and reports to conducting data analysis, engaging stakeholders, and contributing to data-driven decision making across the organization.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working across multiple disciplines within the analytics ecosystem. Successful candidates may come from backgrounds such as business analytics, data analytics, analytics engineering, business intelligence, application development, or related fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that communicate actionable insights.
- Analyze business processes, operational data, and performance metrics to support organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate those needs into analytical solutions.
- Support the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and data integration processes.
- Perform data validation, quality assurance, and troubleshooting activities.
- Contribute to data modernization efforts, including cloud-based analytics and reporting solutions.
- Document business requirements, analytical methodologies, and technical processes.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
RequirementsRequired Qualifications
- Experience in data analysis, business intelligence, business analytics, analytics engineering, or a related field.
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, or data visualizations using modern analytics tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-based analytics services.
- Experience with data engineering concepts, ETL/ELT processes, or data pipeline development.
- Experience with application development or software engineering practices.
- Familiarity with Python, or other data-focused programming languages.
- Experience with modern BI and visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Experience supporting agile development teams.
