What You Will Do:
Apply strong technical skills and a mission-focused mindset to understand client needs, identify opportunities, and design data-driven solutions. Leverage tools such as Python and platforms such as Databricks to create and maintain automated workflows to catalog data using APIs to ingest and transform data from various sources and file types. Create and maintain authentication workbooks for connections from data sources to cataloging tools. Work on the Microsoft Power Platform to create and maintain Power Apps solutions. Communicate clearly to translate technical findings for both technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership. Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, adapt solutions to mission needs, and drive initiatives forward.

What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three (3) or more years of relevant professional experience in data analysis, data science, data engineering or data visualization
  • Experience in creating and maintaining automated workflows using Python in Databricks to catalog data using APIs to ingest and transform data from various sources and file types.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining authentication workbooks for making connections from data sources to cataloging tools such as Alation.
  • Experience using Microsoft Power Platform and creating and maintaining Power Apps.
  • Ability to support remote, hybrid, or on-site projects in the Washington D.C. metro area.


What Would Be Nice To Have:
  • THREE (3) or more years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience working in Databricks.
  • Familiarity with Agile team operations, such as sprint planning, standup calls, writing Jira stories, backlog refinement, etc.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively identify opportunities to add value to the client, and drive initiatives and innovation.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and present technical solutions, insights, and results to technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership.
  • Experience performing data engineering, such as Extract-Transform-Load (ETL), managing databases, etc.
  • Experience working in the Microsoft Power Platform and creating and maintaining Power Apps.
  • Experience working with data cataloging and metadata.
  • Experience working with APIs.
  • Familiarity with Alation.
  • Ability to support business development including RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses and white papers.
  • Relevant experience supporting Department of State or other Federal Government organizations.
