Data Architecture Engineer (TS/SCI Cleared)

Position Description: ThinkTek is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead the development and application of advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence solutions in support of large-scale Federal Government programs. The selected candidate will leverage extensive experience in data science, statistical modeling, and programming to deliver mission-critical insights, predictive capabilities, and decision-support tools. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in working with secure environments, large and complex datasets, and advanced data visualization techniques.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Data Migration Plan.
  • Document current ("As-Is") and future state ("To-Be") conceptual, logical, and physical data models and data dictionaries.
  • Map legacy data elements from disparate systems to the future state data schema.
  • Draft and propose data quality rules for approval, and support cleansing efforts under direction to identify and remediate duplicate, orphaned, or corrupted records prior to migration.
  • Utilize data engineering best practices to build scalable, automated transformation pipelines.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to design, engineer, and oversee the technical interfaces and data pipelines required for continuous, secure data synchronization.
  • Ensure all engineered data models, pipelines, and architectures comply with relevant architectures and DoD IL5 data security protocols.
  • Design and engineer the underlying data structures and optimized data models necessary for generating high-level dashboards and executive metrics.
  • Serve as primary expert and liaison (internal and external) for data architecture

Pay Range

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $150,030 - $163,020. This range is a good-faith estimate and not a guarantee of compensation. Final compensation will be based on factors including experience, education, skills, geographic location, internal equity, market data, and applicable contract requirements, and may fall outside the posted range.
