Qualifications/Requirements:
The Cyber Resiliency Office for Weapon Systems (CROWS) is responsible to guide and facilitate endeavors that increase the cyber resiliency of Air and Space Force weapon systems to maintain mission effective capability under adverse conditions. To achieve this, we seek a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team for AFLCMC/EN-EZ CROWS as a Data Architect and enable the Data Strategy.
As the Data Architect, the selectee will design, implement, and govern a CROWS enterprise data architecture required to integrate complex data systems across multiple organizations and security domains. The candidate will establish robust and scalable data architectures utilizing event-driven Application Program Interfaces (APIs), modern data integration patterns including Extract, Transform, Load/Extract, Load, Transform (ETL/ELT), and cloud-native data platforms to unify disparate data domains including systems engineering, cybersecurity, intelligence, and operations into a cohesive and authoritative data ecosystem. Additionally, the candidate will interface effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including the Air and Space Staffs, Combatant Commands, Major Commands, and Program Offices, to ensure scalable data pipelines directly support advanced enterprise analytics and provide the structural foundation for quantitative, data-driven recommendations regarding risk scenarios and resource-management challenges.
This strategic position requires strong technical leadership, a deep understanding of data modeling, a passion for decision science, and the ability to architect secure, high-integrity data environments that bridge the gap between disparate technical data sources and executive decision-making. Work will require the ability to gain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience architecting and governing enterprise data integration strategies using APIs, modern ETL/ELT patterns, and cloud-native services for both structured and semi-structured data.
Demonstrated experience establishing and enforcing enterprise-wide data governance, data quality, and authoritative data management policies.
Experience integrating engineering, cybersecurity, intelligence, operational, and business data into a unified enterprise data environment.
Proven experience designing and delivering scalable data architectures that serve as the foundation for advanced analytics, business intelligence, and ML/AI applications.
Strong communication skills, proficient in engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels to provide actionable, quantitative recommendations regarding risk scenarios and resource-management challenges.
Polished Communicator with experience translating complex enterprise data structures, governance strategies, and technical integration roadmaps to GO/SES and OSD-level leadership.
U.S. Citizenship

Key Responsibilities:
Supports and influences CROWS Data Architecture, Cyberspace, and Knowledge Management programs; develops and drives the enterprise data strategy; makes authoritative recommendations on data modeling, storage solutions, pipeline architecture, and technology investments.
Enables and advances CROWS enterprise data integration pipelines, designs underlying data schemas/models, and develops and refines the canonical data models and schemas that provide the decision-ready data infrastructure needed for senior Air Force leadership risk-mitigation decisions.
Provides technical data engineering guidance and architectural recommendations to government personnel and contractors engaged in data modeling, database administration, and pipeline development.
Identifies and influences organizational priorities regarding data governance, authoritative data sources (ADS), and secure cross-domain data flow.
Represent the organization in functional enterprise data activities, maintains technical relationships with partner agencies/program offices, delivers technical briefs, and collaborates on multi-domain data operations.
Plans and coordinates all phases of the acquisition, design, architecture, engineering, integration, and security testing of CROWS enterprise data environments and cloud-based data management repositories.
Desired Experience:
Record of effective senior-level decision support through the delivery of high-integrity, authoritative data systems and technical risk-modeling environments.
Expertise in independently leading and enabling data architecture programs and database development projects in an agile, fast-paced environment.
Expertise in multi-domain data integration, database schema mapping, and fusing highly disparate data sets (e.g., threat intelligence, systems engineering, and cyber vulnerabilities).
Expertise in designing data systems that leverage modern data orchestration, transformation, and modeling tools within cloud-native data warehousing or data lake platforms.
Experience or familiarity working with Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) enclaves.
