Job Description:The Data Architect at Elite will play a pivotal role in shaping the data architecture and reporting strategy for our platform. This role requires a deep understanding of data management, cloud technologies, and the ability to design scalable and efficient data solutions. Architects at Elite are hands-on, working with the engineering teams to deliver products to market. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure services and a strong background in data architecture, data governance, and business intelligence.
Work Arrangement: Remote
What You'll Do:- Define and implement the data architecture strategy for our SaaS platform.
- Define a data platform that allows strong data governance, sound operational control, and the flexibility needed by end customers.
- Lead the design and guide the development of scalable models, data pipelines, and data warehouses / lakes using Azure Fabric.
- Collaborate with product teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and maintain a data governance framework.
- Oversee the implementation of data integration, ETL processes, and data migration strategies.
- Design and implement advanced analytics and reporting solutions to support business decision-making.
- Partner with other architects and engineers to design and deliver AI solutions using the most current AI practices.
- Mentor and guide junior data engineers and architects.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and company objectives.
What You'll Need:- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 9-12 years of experience in data architecture, data management, and business intelligence
- Extensive experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing data governance frameworks.
- Experience in the legal or financial sectors is a plus.
- Ability to travel up
