Job Summary As a Data and Application Integration Lead with Minnesota IT Services (MNIT) and the Department of Transportation (MnDOT), you will serve as the lead worker responsible for coordinating and guiding the day-to-day data and application integration work; perform systems administration of the Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud Services (IDMC) platform; and guiding Azure integration services work supported by the unit. You will provide technical leadership to ensure consistent integration practices, support the implementation of established architecture, and oversee system integration activities for MNIT Partnering with MnDOT.
You will collaborate with system architects to apply and support department standards for data and application integrations; including extract-transform-load (ETL) and API processes; ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards established with MNIT and guided by MnDOT's strategic goals. As the lead worker for the Data Integration Team, this position directs and coordinates daily technical activities, provides guidance on integration practices, assists with technology evaluation through research and proof-of-concept work, and ensures consistent adherence to established standards and processes.
This position is telework eligible for applicants who reside in Minnesota or in a bordering state, with supervisory approval and satisfactory performance. If you live in a state bordering Minnesota, you must live within 50 miles of less from the primary work location to be eligible for telework. Telework arrangements and policy updates may be adjusted based on business needs.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications To qualify, candidates must clearly show all of the following qualifications in their resume. Resume tips available here : Position requires a minimum of five (5) years of IT related experience in large scale IT systems design and implementation.
Experience must include:
- Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IDMC) experience that includes technical administration of the platform, installation of secure agents on Linux OS, connection / log reviews, and Informatica delivered updates/impacts.
- Informatica Intelligence Data Management Cloud (IDMC) (Application Integration) development.
- Web services, REST, API, and flows/pipelines.
- Design, develop and implement ETL process to extract, transform and load structured, unstructured, and disparate source data into the target data stores, data warehouse and/or data marts.
- Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and optimizing integrations.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a manner that facilitates mutual understanding.
- Customer-focused approach grounded in active listening, empathy, and solution-oriented problem-solving to deliver positive user experiences.
Education in Information Technology (IT) or an IT related field may substitute for experience as follows: a master's degree for eighteen (18) months of experience; a bachelor's degree for one (1) year; and an associate's degree for six (6) months.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, procedures, triggers, constraints, and stored procedures along with strong SQL Skills to be able to develop complex queries.
- Experience developing and/or modify programs typically related to database updates, records modifications, processing of data and reporting.
- Ability to convert, integrate and manipulate data across various applications.
- Database design and modeling techniques.
Strongly Preferred Qualifications - Advanced system administration skills in development and implementing database operating system scripts.
- Experience with Azure Service Bus Cloud Messaging Service used for messaging between entities.
- Experience with Azure cloud data integration and data warehousing toolset and platform and Informatica swagger files and pagination.
