Data Analytics Engineer (Snowflake)

We are seeking a skilled Data Analytics Engineer with top technical skills in areas that immediately need focus, including advanced SQL expertise and hands-on Snowflake experience. This role is responsible for ensuring data quality, performing operational data stewardship, and supporting data-driven decision making across the organization.
Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • SQL Expertise: Top-level SQL skills (3-4+ years) for complex querying, data manipulation, and analysis - immediate focus area
  • Snowflake Experience: Hands-on experience working with Snowflake data warehouse platform
  • Python Programming: 1-2+ years of Python experience for data profiling, automation, and analysis
  • Data Systems Knowledge: Understanding of operational data systems architecture, including OSDS/SDO environments
  • Data Warehousing: Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes
  • Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Core Responsibilities

  • Profile data from new environments using advanced SQL and Python techniques
  • Leverage Snowflake capabilities for data analysis and quality validation
  • Perform operational data stewardship tasks as needed, including manual checks of data against source systems (OSDS/SDO) where appropriate
  • Develop and execute test cases based on product specifications and/or requirements gathered from team
