Job Summary This position is eligible for telework for applicants who reside in Minnesota or in a bordering state, with supervisory approval and satisfactory performance. If you live in a state bordering Minnesota, you must live within 50 miles or less from the primary work location to be eligible for telework. Flexible work hours may be permitted with supervisor approval. This position supports the Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) by assisting with clinical and evaluation coordination and quality management for existing and evolving programs, research initiatives, as well as activities supported and directed by Federal Block Grant (FBG) and other federal or legislative awards. Expertise pertains to grants, Medicare/Medicaid Programs, and data analytics. The focus of this position will be to support the various initiatives and programs primarily related to Adult, Children or Substance Use Mental Health.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held. Three (3) years work experience demonstrating expertise supporting research and data analysis for health-care related programs.
Experience must include:
- Practical understanding of data analyses and research techniques.
- Practical experience d ata collection, data manipulation, data transformation and interpretation.
- Skilled at using MS Excel and other MS Suite programs.
- Knowledge and experience in DAANES.

Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Psychology, Human Services, Social Work, Public Health, or another related fields may substitute for one (1) year of work experience. **Master's Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Psychology, Human Services, Social Work, Public Health, or another related fields may substitute for one (2) year of work experience. Preferred Qualifications - Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
- Experience working with Crystal Reports or any data warehouse, information systems and/or programs.
- Experience working with Data visualization tools such as Tableau, R, SQL or SAS.
- Project management experience.
- Strong human relations and communication skills; communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing; respond openly to requests and concerns.
- Knowledge of Mental/Behavioral Health Care Programs.
