Team / Project Overview:
  • The team works on Data Center workforce/headcount planning and builds forecasting models, automation tools, and SQL-based solutions.
  • The role has a strong Data Engineering + SQL programming focus.
  • SQL is particularly important for ensuring data quality and preparing the data required to build and maintain pipelines.

Must Haves:
  • SQL / SQL Database
  • Python
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF) Pipelines
  • SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)

Candidate Profile:
  • Strong SQL is particularly important.
  • Data Engineers with strong SQL programming skills can be considered.
  • Candidates can come from different technical backgrounds; the focus is primarily on technical capability rather than workforce-planning experience.
  • Workforce planning experience is NOT required.

Explain a typical day in the role.:
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance staffing and workforce planning models.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and related Azure services.
  • Develop analytical solutions and automation using SQL and Python.
  • Manage and support Azure SQL environments, including database administration, monitoring, and performance tuning.
  • Support data integrations, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.
  • Work with tabular data models, including SSAS cubes.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and scalability across planning and reporting platforms.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate workforce planning requirements into analytical solutions.

Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $156,000 - 163,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
