Are you a data analyst ready to turn your technical foundation in SQL, Python, Excel, and data visualization into meaningful, hands-on experience? If you enjoy working directly with datasets 6cleaning, preparing, validating, and transforming data into trusted insights 6this is an opportunity to build your capabilities while contributing to decisions across a global organization.

The Data Analyst supports CFA Institute 27s Enterprise Data Analytics team by cleaning, preparing, and documenting structured datasets, and by building foundational visualizations, dashboards, and reports. Working under the guidance of the Director, Enterprise Data Analytics, the Data Analyst applies established methods and standard tools, such as Excel, SQL, and Python, to deliver accurate and timely analyses that support business decisions across the organization. The Data Analyst executes predefined data analysis tasks, runs statistical analyses, and conducts quality assurance on reports and data pipelines. The role investigates known data issues using standard troubleshooting steps.

This position is eligible for remote work within select approved U.S. locations. Candidates must reside in one of the locations identified in the job posting.

What You 27ll Do

  • Clean, prepare, and document structured datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability for downstream analysis

  • Contribute to the preparation of recurring data and analytics reports for internal stakeholders

  • Support colleagues 27 use of data management and reporting systems by answering routine questions and directing them to documentation

  • Develop foundational data analysis skills and business knowledge through ongoing training, coaching, and hands-on project work

What We 27re Looking For

At CFA Institute, we are committed to transparency and equity throughout our hiring process. In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, we are providing the anticipated base salary range for this position: $70,000 6$100,000 per year.

The actual base salary offered will be determined based on relevant factors, including the candidate 27s experience, education, qualifications, and geographic location.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus, a 12% employer contribution to a 401(k) plan, and a comprehensive medical benefits package.
