About this Position

Overview

Data Analyst 2 will be responsible in leading/supporting and execution of multiple key initiatives along with creating powerful and actionable analytical insights that help inform future business decisions. This position will adopt and utilize appropriate analytical approaches and methodology in addressing key issues within the business. Candidate must live in Metro Atlanta Area.

Hybrid Role: 1-2 Days in Duluth Office
Location: Atlanta, GA

Salary range between $90K - $105K Annually

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Job Description
  • Support all phases of data collection and assessment for reporting and delivery
  • Query and analyze data using tools such as SQL, Python, Palantir Foundry and others as required
  • Create reports, presentations, and visual dashboards in support of department or business operations
  • Support analytic projects that align with R&D initiatives across multiple departments within life insurance operations
  • Assist with data strategy objectives
  • Regularly present and provide insights to senior leadership
  • Excellent diagnostic skills to analyze and identify discrepancies within data sets and identify solutions
  • Resilient work ethic with the capability to adapt to the situation
  • Self-motivated and willing to take ownership
  • Capable of working independently on multiple projects to meet deadlines
  • Ability to handle ambiguity while striving for clarity
  • Effective communication across diverse audiences
  • Expertise in quantitative data analysis methods and data mining
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate trends and analyses into actionable recommendations
