Job Description

As a D&O Technical Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing large and complex customer contracts with medium to high-risk probabilities. Your primary focus will be on managing customer programs or projects for defined product and service scopes, ensuring alignment with Nokia's Mode of Operation (MoO) and guidelines. You will be responsible for end-to-end project planning, risk management, and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining financial targets and operational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer programs or projects for defined product and service scopes, ensuring alignment with Nokia's MoO and guidelines.
  • Plan and update customer project plans, coordinating change management for cost, scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Ensure consistency among project financial, product, and service forecast activities, and participate in pre-sales and sales processes.
  • Determine and manage delivery approach alternatives, selecting the final recommended approach.
  • Oversee the handover from Sell to Execute and from Delivery to Care, monitoring progress and ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Initiate and execute project contract management processes, customizing global operational processes to meet project requirements.
  • Manage customer relationships during delivery, serving as the primary interface for customer interactions and addressing complaints or changing requirements.
  • Prepare and implement a clear communication plan, ensuring proactive and effective communication with customers and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and control project delivery within approved budgets and profitability forecasts, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough risk management for all project risks and opportunities, seeking new opportunities to expand and renew customer contracts.


Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of extensive relevant experience in project management or a related field, or a graduate/postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Expertise in more than one area, with a broad perspective and deep knowledge of theory and practice within a function.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead a project team, potentially performing line manager responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to express complex information clearly and inspire others.
  • Cross-cultural knowledge and a global mindset, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in managing complex customer projects, ensuring successful delivery and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, including risk management and opportunity identification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues.
  • Ability to work independently and self-direct, developing and implementing innovative concepts and plans.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities.
