Cybersecurity / Zero Trust Architect - SeniorWashington, DC The
Senior Cybersecurity / Zero Trust Architect designs and implements enterprise cybersecurity solutions supporting secure mission systems for CDAO programs.
Responsibilities - Design cybersecurity architectures supporting enterprise IT environments.
- Support development and implementation of Zero Trust security models.
- Conduct security architecture reviews and risk assessments.
- Develop system security documentation supporting RMF authorization processes.
- Support vulnerability management and threat mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security controls.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience developing the required documents for the A&A, 5+ years of experience implementing NIST 800-53A security controls; 1 year of experience in data structures, data mining, business intelligence
- ISC(2) CISSP or equivalent
- Must be a US citizen
- Must be able to pass a Criminal and Financial Background Check prior to starting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of cybersecurity experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise security architectures and RMF processes.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture frameworks.
- CISSP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Active Secret security clearance required (or higher).
