We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Manager to join the Cybersecurity, Technology Risk, and Privacy (CTRP) team in our Risk Advisory practice.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

The Senior Manager will play a critical leadership role within our Cybersecurity, Technology Risk, and Privacy practice, serving as a trusted advisor to clients while helping drive the strategic growth of the practice. This role requires a strong blend of hands-on technical cybersecurity expertise, client-facing leadership, business development acumen, and the ability to lead and mentor diverse, multidisciplinary teams across cybersecurity, IT audit, and privacy domains.

The ideal candidate brings a strategic, growth-oriented mindset, deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business insights for executive and board-level stakeholders.

Client Delivery & Technical Leadership
  • Lead and oversee complex cybersecurity, technology risk, and privacy engagements, including assessments, vCISO, program design, remediation, IT internal audit and compliance advisory services.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise across areas such as cybersecurity governance, risk assessments, regulatory compliance, third-party risk, incident response readiness, and privacy programs.
  • Apply and interpret leading frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CMMC, ISO, CIS, SOC, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) to client environments and risk profiles.
  • Review and guide technical work products to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with client objectives.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships with executive leadership, boards, and key stakeholders.

Business Development & Practice Growth
  • Be active in the marketplace identifying new clients and opportunities through personal networking and relationships.
  • Collaborate with Partners and Directors to drive growth initiatives, develop new service offerings, and expand existing client relationships.
  • Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats, regulatory developments, and market trends to inform strategic direction and client solutions.
  • Contribute to thought leadership, internal knowledge sharing, and external market-facing initiatives.

People Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of professionals across cybersecurity, IT audit, and privacy disciplines.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture focused on professional growth and technical excellence.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development guidance to team members.
  • Assist with resource planning, engagement staffing, and team utilization management.
  • Take an active leadership role in practice management responsibilities such as internal process improvement, opportunity management and engagement administration.

Communication & Executive Engagement
  • Translate complex technical and regulatory concepts into clear, concise, and business-focused messaging for non-technical audiences.
  • Deliver executive-level presentations and facilitate discussions with senior leadership and boards.
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional teams to align cybersecurity and privacy initiatives with broader business and risk management objectives.
  • Will collaborate and become familiar with other advisory services in order to provide a firmwide perspective to client solutioning

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, MS in Technology Management) preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, IT audit, privacy, or related advisory/consulting roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading client engagements and managing teams in a professional services environment.
  • Strong technical foundation in cybersecurity, IT controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to contribute to business development, client relationship management, and practice growth initiatives.
  • At least one of the following - CMMC Certified Assessor; CISSP; CISA; CEH
  • Other relevant certifications (e.g., CRISC, CDPSE, CIPP/US, ISO Lead Auditor) are a plus
  • Ability to work onsite 3 days per week, and travel up to 50% (domestic and international)
