Join SAIC's team and play a pivotal role in defending North America. We are seeking a Cybersecurity Liasion Operations Coordinator to streamline operations for cybersecurity defense efforts for the critical North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Services (NITES) contract.

In this role, the Cybersecurity Liaison Operations Coordinator facilitates cross-command collaboration between NORAD/USNORTHCOM Cyberspace Wing and Operations Center (CWOC) and Joint Cyber Center (JCC) and NITES administrative personnel. This role is the communication focal point between the CWOC/JCC and the J66 NITES contract on all Cyber Tasking Orders (CTASKORD/CTOs), downward directed orders, Information Assurance Vulnerability Management Bulletins (IAVMs), and plan of action and milestone items (POA&Ms).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Spearhead the IAVM and CTO program for the NITES contract.
  • Coordinate and track directives and orders between system owners and the CWOC.
  • Maintain a POA&M tracker including milestones, ownership, and follow-up dates, while ensuring all entries are routed to the ISSM.
  • Close out POA&M items upon remediation or submit detailed requests prior to approved completion dates.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for CTASKORD/IAVM coordination and POA&M guidance
  • Provide key communication between the CWOC, JCC, J66, and the NITES contract.


Qualifications

Required Qualification:
  • TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Certification required per DoDD 8140.03, Intermediate Level (e.g., CompTIA CySA+, Security+ CE, GSEC, or equivalent)
  • Flexible, independent, self-motivated, and punctual.
  • Experience tracking and coordinating military directives, such as Cyber Tasking Orders (CTASKORDs/CTOs) and Downward Directed Orders.
  • Demonstrated ability to author, review, and maintain highly technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance tracking logs.
  • 3+ years of overall IT and cybersecurity experience

Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with enterprise vulnerability scanners
  • Previous experience operating in a highly complex, metrics-driven DoD cybersecurity environment.
  • Experience compiling complex compliance metrics and presenting clear, actionable executive-level briefings to senior military and civilian leadership.
  • Project management experience or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification
